C250 Head of pancreas **Note 1:** This schema is based on the UICC chapter *Pancreas,* pages 132-135. **Note 2:** For tumors of the islet cells, determine which subsite of the pancreas is involved and use that primary site code and the corresponding schema. * If the subsite cannot be determined, use the general code for Islets of Langerhans, C254, and use the schema for Pancreas, Other and Unspecified **Note 3:** In addition to directly assigning TNM, Summary Stage 2000 (SS2000) must be captured. If directly assigning SS2000, use the *Pancreas: Head, Body and Tail* chapter on page 116 of the [SS2000 on-line manual](https://seer.cancer.gov/tools/ssm/ssm2000/SSSM2000-122012.pdf#page=116).
