Primary Tumor Location within Gallbladder

Notes

**Note 1:** There is no serosa on the gallbladder on the side attached to the liver; therefore, a simple cholecystectomy may not completely remove a T2 tumor, even though such tumors are usually confined to the gallbladder. It is important to know if the primary tumor was located on the free peritoneal or the hepatic side of the gallbladder at cholecystectomy. **Note 2:** Record a statement of primary tumor location within the gallbladder recorded at the time of cholecystectomy.
