Per ICD-O-3.2, "Minor Salivary Gland" is coded as C069, which also includes mouth other. Mouth Other (C069) is being used as a schema discriminator so that these cases can be identified. * **Note:** There is a unique ICD-O-4 topography code for "minor salivary gland," so the use of the Schema Discriminator will only be used until ICD-O-4 is implemented * Most minor salivary glands are found in the oral cavity (C000-C069) or the sinonasal tract (C300-C319). * Historically, these cases have been collected in the schema or Summary Stage chapter where they occurred. For example, a minor salivary gland in the hard palate, would have been collected in the hard palate schema or Summary Stage chapter.
